Demon Slayer Season 2 Announced For 2021

On the 2nd anniversary of popular manga Kimetsu No Yaiba, a special program was featured on ABEMA. The program was live and during that same stream, Demon Slayer Season 2 was Officially Announced for 2021.

The Season 2 will cover “Red Light District” arc from the manga. Given the massive popularity and success of the Season 1, it was sure that a second season was on the making. And finally it is officially announced for 2021. Its a great news for Demon Slayer fans all around the world.

Watch the Movie First

The Demon Slayer Season 1 was followed up by The Mugen Train Movie, which is an official canon arc in the manga as well. Therefore, you must watch the Mugen Train movie first in order to understand the story in Red Light District Arc. This Demon Slayer movie is already one of the most iconic movies in Anime History and has already broken many records. It surpassed Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away(2002) for all time highest earnings in Japanese Box Office History.

Just like Season 1, the Infinity Train move also had God-Tier animations, thanks to Ufotable. Infinity Train Arc also had some of the best of the best fights in the series. Since Ufotable who have done such an excellent job for Season 1 and the movie, will also be working on the second season, there’s no doubt that the upcoming season will also have great animations.

Manga readers already know that Red Light District arc has some of the Greatest Fights in all series and therefore, if the Anime is done right which we are sure Ufotable will do without any mistakes, this arc has potential for some of the Greatest Fights in Anime History too.
