In Today’s article, we will be ranking the Top 10 Strongest Uchiha Clan Members in Naruto Universe (Naruto and Naruto Shippuden Only).
The Uchiha Clan is one of the four noble clans of the Hidden Leaf Village and it is easily the strongest clan in the history of Naruto Verse. This clan has produced the most overpowered characters when compared to the other clans and it’s not even close. The only Clan that could ever go toe to toe against the Uchiha were the Senju Clan. However, the Senju Clan was somehow forced into extinction.
We will be focusing on the main Uchiha Clan Members. There obviously are a few in the fillers and in the data books that you could go over. However, a lot of them are mainly feat less and it is really hard to scale them. Keep in mind that we are talking about Naruto and Naruto Shippuden only. Therefore we won’t be considering the feats from Adult Sasuke. Also, a confusion that most of the fans seem to have regarding the members of the Uchiha Clan is about Indra Otsutsuki. Indra was the older son of Hagormo Otsutsuki. He is the founder of the Uchiha Clan but he himself isn’t a Uchiha.

10.Rai Uchiha
We don’t know much about Rai’s capabilities, except for the fact that he was the one who used the power of Izanagi to its maximum potential. Izanagi is one of the Greatest Uchiha Clan Dojutsu. Unlike many other Jutsu, Izanagi is cast on the user themselves instead of the target. After successfully activating Izanagi, the caster removes the boundary between reality and illusion within their personal space. Users can defy Death itself by using Jutsu.
Rai became a renowned shinobi among the Uchiha with the power of Izanagi. Besides abusing Izanagi, he doesn’t have any other true feats, therefore, he is here in 10th place.
9.Kagami Uchiha
Not much is known about Kagami Uchiha either. We do know that Kagami was the ancestor of Shisui, who stated he was the strongest Uchiha of his time. He was also one of the few among the Uchiha Clan members, who never fell victim to the clan’s curse of hatred.
Kagami served under Second Hokage Tobirama Senju and was friends with Third Hokage Hiruzen and Danzo. Despite being an Uchiha, he was powerful enough to receive praise from the likes of Danzo. Kagami, who participated in the First Great Ninja War, never managed to awaken the Mangekyou Sharingan. However, his visual prowess allowed him to save Danzo’s life several times.
8.Naori Uchiha
Uchiha Naori was the inventor of Izanami. Izanami is one of the Uchiha Clan’s ultimate Dojutsu. This Dojutsu affects the target through physical sensation shared between them and the user to perform an illusion. As stated by Itachi, Izanami was created by Naori as a countermeasure against Izanagi.
While Izanagi is capable of altering Destiny, Izanami is the one that decides Destiny. Izanami is one of the most powerful Genjutsu in all of Naruto and Naori founded this Jutsu to trap Uchiha Rai in an endless time loop until finally, he accepted the reality.
7.Izuna Uchiha
Izuna Uchiha was the younger brother of legendary Uchiha Madara. As stated in the data books, Izuna was almost equal to Madara when he still had the Mangekyo Sharingan.
Itachi stated that he and Madara after awakening their MS quickly became the most powerful members of the clan. These two brothers were able to go toe to toe against Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju. It is very difficult to determine how strong Izuna actually was, as he was only shown in one fight scene, where he was killed by Tobirama.

6.Fugaku Uchiha
Fugaku Uchiha was the father of Sasuke and Itachi who’s one of the few Uchiha Clan Members to own the Mangekyo Sharingan. He was the head of the Uchiha Clan and was a possible Hokage Candidate at the time of Orochimaru and Minato. Fugaku was even confirmed to be strong enough to have him in a terrible match-up for Itachi in the novel’s when he slayed the Uchiha Clan.
It’s also hinted that Fugaku had the power to control the nine-tails at one point and could have used it in the coup if he wanted to after ripping it out of Naruto’s body. Fugaku is a very powerful Benchmark Uchiha who laid the foundation for the Clan at the time where they were feared as the strongest clan in Konoha. However he, unfortunately, doesn’t have any crazy feats or anything else to really put him higher on this list and we know very little about his maximum capabilities so we’ll just place him at number six.
5.Shisui Uchiha
Uchiha Shisui is one of the most talented people in the Uchiha Clan. Itachi who looked up to Shisui as his brother and mentor stated that, he was the greatest Genjutsu user at that time. Danzo in one of the Ova hailed Shisui as the strongest Uchiha. His signature move was the Body Flicker, which later earned him the nickname “Shisui of the Body Flicker”.
Shisui’s velocity and mobility with this technique were so great that he was able to leave behind multiple after-images that could strike with actual force and could also move undetected by the sensory ninjas.
The most powerful asset in Shisui’s arsenal was the Kotoamatsukami. It is a powerful but subtle mind-controlling Genjutsu that belonged to the Mangekyou Sharingan of Uchiha Shisui. Kotoamatsukami is the perfect Jutsu for political takeovers, manipulation, or assassination. This Genjutsu issues a command towards the victim that forces them to comply, without the victim even knowing they were under the Genjutsu while making them believe, they were doing so under their own free will.
4.Itachi Uchiha
Uchiha Itachi, one of the most loved characters in the franchise, was a prodigy as a child, second only to Shisui. At just 14 years of age, Itachi became the captain of Anbu Black Ops, and was forced to slaughter his entire clan. Third Hokage Hiruzen stated that, “Even at the age of seven, Itachi thought like a Hokage”.
Throughout the series, Itachi showed the ability to use powerful Genjutsu. With his left eye, he can cast Tsukuyomi, a Genjutsu that alters its victim’s perception of space and time. On the other hand, with his right eye, he was able to use Amaterasu, the strongest Fire Jutsu in the entirety of Naruto. Amaterasu produces inextinguishable black flames which can burn as hot as the Sun itself. The black flames do not stop burning until its target is completely destroyed. Both of these high-level Jutsu, Tsukuyomi, and Amaterasu were the mangekyo ability of Uchiha Itachi.
His Susano was the most powerful out of all abilities he possessed. His Susano had access to two astral artifacts, The Yata Mirror and the Totsuka Blade. The Yata Mirror is an astral defense, that can deflect any attack that is in front of it, except for the astral attacks. Moving on to the attacking asset of his Susano, the Totsuka Bladd is an astral defense that can seal any target that touches it, as long as it hits.
Besides this, Itachi has also shown the ability to cast another highly powerful Genjutsu, Izanami. Itachi was one of the main reasons, why the Fourth Ninja War was won. He cornered Kabuto using this Jutsu and finally made Kabuto undo the Edo Tensei. Since Itachi had nearly a decade to hone his Mangekyo Sharingan after Shisui’s death, he earns the fourth position ahead of Shisui.
3.Obito Uchiha
Obito Uchiha, who started the Great Fourth Ninja War with the help of Kabuto, was a major antagonist in the series for the majority of the time. He was believed to have died during the Third Ninja War, his only remaining Legacy being the Sharingan he gave to his teammate, Kakashi. However, he was saved from death and was trained by Madara. The death of Rin Nohara left Obito disillusioned with reality, and he inherited Madara’s plan to create an Ideal World.
Out of all Obito’s abilities, his most powerful was Kamui, a Mangekyo Sharingan ability that allows the user to teleport themselves or a part of their body, or someone else to the Kamui dimension. This ability of him was really overpowered. With the power of this eye, Obito was able to phase through any physical attack, whether, it was taijutsu or ninjutsu.
At just 14 years of age, he was able to go toe to toe against the Yellow Flash of Leaf. Besides this, he easily controlled the Nine-tails at this age, a feat only Uchiha Madara and Uchiga Fugaku were capable of performing back then. Obito also had access to the Uchiha Clan’s ultimate Dojutsu, Izanagi.
After obtaining just one Rinnegan, he was able to take on KCM1 Naruto, Killer Bee, 7th Gate Gai, and Kakashi at the same time with minimal effort. Later, after absorbing the Ten-Tails, Obito got further stronger, showing almost immediate mastery of the Truth-Seeking Orbs and Six Paths Senjutsu.

2.Sasuke Uchiha
Sasuke is one of the last surviving members of the Uchiha Clan. After Itachi massacred the clan, Sasuke made it his aim in life to avenge his clan by killing his brother. Sasuke was added to Team 7 upon becoming a ninja and, through competition with his rival and friend, Naruto, he starts developing his skills. Dissatisfied with his progress, he later defects from Konoha so that he can acquire the strength needed to avenge his clan.
Sasuke awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan after Itachi’s death, as he finally knew the truth and came to terms with the fact that, Itachi was the single most significant relationship he ever had. His MS abilities are extremely powerful. With his left eye, he can use Amaterasu and with his right eye, he can use Kagatsuchi, an ability that allows Sasuke to control Amaterasu into whatever shape he wishes it to. Kirin, a Jutsu that utilizes lightning from the Heavens and directs it towards its target is one of the strongest Jutsu in Sasuke’s arsenal.
Now, about the main topic, how strong was Sasuke at the End of Shippuden? Sasuke at this point in the series had just gotten the Rinnegan. Sasuke had access to the perfect Susanoo, becoming one of only two Uchiha Clan Members in all of Narut to achieve this feat. However, with the help of Rinnegan, he has access to a much more powerful Susanoo, that utilizes the power of all Tailed Beasts.
During his fight against Naruto at the Final Valley, he was able to press Six Paths Naruto, who also had the power of all Tailed Beasts. And by the time he fought Naruto at the Final Valley, he had the Rinnegan eye for a day at most. Because of this, Sasuke had yet to fully master the Rinnegan and its abilities. There is no doubt that Sasuke as an Adult is the strongest Uchiha to ever live, as he would’ve had several years to master all the abilities of Rinnegan.
1.Madara Uchiha
Uchiha Madara was the legendary leader of the Uchiha Clan. He founded the Hidden Leaf Village alongside his childhood friend, Hashirama, with the intention of beginning an era of peace. Madara was one of the most gifted shinobi in history, hailed as the strongest member of the Clan in his lifetime.
When we are talking about the feats and achievements from Naruto and Naruto Shippuden only without including Boruto, Uchiha Madara is the Strongest Uchiha to have ever lived.
Unlike Sasuke, Madara has Rinnegan in both of his eyes. He has also almost perfected all of the abilities that come with Rinnegan. Madara has the ability to use Tengai Shinsei twice in a row. No other Shinobi in Naruto Verse have been able to perform this feat. Madara is also the first Uchiha ever to pull off the perfect Susanoo. His Susanoo has power stated to rival that of all Tailed Beasts.
One of the very special abilities of Madara’s Rinnegan was Rinbo: Hengoku (Limbo). Limbo in Naruto Verse is the realm where Madara can project himself. This realm coexists in the boundaries of the invisible, to gain a shadow with incredible abilities. The limbo is usually the area between the realm of the livings and the realm of the deaths, where the souls reside before going to heaven or hell. With just 1 Limbo Clone, Madara was able to 1 shot every tailed beast. After absorbing the Ten-Tails, Madara had another powerful Jutsu, Fang of Light. This Jutsu shoots a beam towards the opponent at the speed of light.
Madara with two Rinnegan was not only able to use 4 Limbo Clones but was also able to casually flick away Naruto and Sasuke at the same time. Yes, the same Sasuke and Naruto with Six Paths Power, but even they couldn’t do anything significant at all.
Lastly, Madara has the access to the Infinite Tsukuyomi. It is the strongest Genjutsu in Naruto Verse. Using this Jutsu, Madara trapped the entire world in an illusion, enslaving them in a dream.
