Otsutsuki God | Otsutsuki God Boruto
What is an Otsutsuki God?
Otsutsuki God is the final form of an Otsutsuki Clan member which can only be achieved after consuming an insane amount of chakra fruits. Therefore, the end goal of almost every member of the Otsutsuki clan is to achieve this Godly form.
How many Otsutsuki Members are there?
By far in the series, we have come across 11 Otsutsuki members. Besides the Otsutsuki-God, we already know the names of all the other 10 members of this clan.
- Toneri Otsutsuki
- Urashiki Otsutsuki
- Indra Otsutsuki
- Asura Otsutsuki
- Hamura Otsutsuki
- Kinshiki Otsutsuki
- Momoshiki Otsutsuki
- Isshiki Otsutsuki
- Kaguya Otsutsuki
- Hagoromo Otsutsuki
- Otsutsuki God
Who can be a Otsutsuki God?
Members from the Otsutsuki Clan have the privilege to become an Otsutsuki-God. However, even for these celestial beings, achieving the status of Otsutsiki-God is very difficult and needs significant patience.
How can one become a Otsutsuki God?
To be a Otsutsuki God, first and foremost, you must get the Karma Seal on your forehead. This will let you become one of the Otsutsuki’s. The next step is quite tedious and time-consuming. They have to grow a significant amount of God Trees on numerous planets. And eventually, eat the Chakra Fruits from the God Tree once it blossoms. After consuming just enough amount of Chakra Fruits, they finally achieve this Godly Status.
Physical Analysis of an Otsutsuki-God
- 3 eyes and all of them look like Jougan
- Mouth is missing or hidden
- Ripped Body
- Shining lines all over the body
- Tree Roots like objects protruding from the back
So, who is the Otsutsuki God?
The Otsutsuki God is the same person who gave Toneri the Jougan who in turn gave it to Boruto. Although the identity of Otsutsuki-God hasn’t been revealed yet, it’s pretty clear after Boruto Chapter 53 that someone in the Universe has already achieved this form and has awakened the Jougan.
Will Code Become The Otsutsuki God?
Isshiki said that Code would go planet to planet devouring them, becoming a peerless existence. Which automatically makes the Otsutsuki god above Kaguya, Isshiki, and the Ten tails.
It also shows a bit of how the clan’s power structure. Is Isshiki enough of an authority to let Code eat through planets like this? Is power the sole reason for the Otsutsuki mass genocide?
Isshiki implied that Code will have to eat the Divine Fruit of countless planets to reach that stage, therefore the Otsutsuki God should be hella strong and might probably be the final villain of the Boruto series.
Connection Between Jougan and the Otsutsuki God
Do you notice those hundreds of Jougans that are on the weird thing connected with his body? One Jogan was called troublesome by Urashiki, imagine hundreds of them.
This insane amount of eyes, what could probably be the mysterious Jougan Eye, has caught everyone’s attention since Chapter 55.
As it stands, we have very little information on The Jougan Eye, but if it’s the Dojutsu that is possessed by the Otsutsuki God himself, then we can clearly assume that Jougan is one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful Dojutsu in Naruto and Boruto Universe.
Otsutsuki Toneri helped Boruto awaken this dojutsu and he also stated that Boruto will definitely need it in the future to survive against powerful foes. As stated by Toneri, with the help of Jougan Eye, Boruto has the potential to become the pinnacle of power in the future.
So, what Toneri was implying as the pinnacle of power could possibly be the Otsutsuki God? Pretty intriguing right? No matter how we look at the Boruto Series right now, someone who is at the Pinnacle of Power would be the one who gets the Title of Otsutsuki God.
Right now the only assumed connection between the Otsutsuki God and Boruto is the Jougan Eye. And if this speculation is correct, then Jougan at the very least is just as strong as Sharingan, Byakugan, and the Rinnegan. Let’s wait and see how things go forward.
Does the Otsutsuki God Really Exist? Theory!
According to Isshiki’s words, the Otsutsuki-God is an entity in an idealized state, something the Otsutsuki members strive to become in an eventual and hypothetical future. It is almost like some doomsday prophecy for the universe or something along those lines.
Someone like Otsutsuki-God might not actually appear in flesh in the series. Firstly because he is supposedly omnipotent and can’t be defeated, and secondly because, in theory, he can only exist after every planet in the universe is devoured by the Otsutsuki. And this most probably is not going to happen.
Boruto Manga is still going strong and most recently the 67th chapter of the Franchise released. Yet, we have little to no information regarding the Otsutsuki God since he was mentioned in Chapter 53.
Right now in the Manga….Code (who inherited Isshiki’s will to become Otsutsuki God is fighting against Boruto, Kawaki and Naruto. We also came across a new exciting revelation that Momoshiki isn’t dead.
Momoshiki can revive himself through Boruto should Borushiki take over Boruto completely in the future. Unlike Isshiki whose main goal is to become the ultimate being that is the Otsutsuki God….Momoshiki’s intentions aren’t still very clear.
When Otsutsuki Toneri helped Boruto awaken this powerful dojutsu, he also stated that Boruto might need to use it in the future in order to survive. Toneri also stated that, with Jougan unlocked completely, Boruto has the potential to become the pinnacle of power in the future.
Momoshiki who himself is such a powerful Otsutsuki despised the Jougan eye and he thinks the eye is a threat to himself. That’s also the reason why Momoshiki tried to destroy Boruto’s Jougan eye. Maybe Momoshiki is afraid of the near future possibility that is, Boruto becoming an Otsutsuki God.
With all this being said, what do you think about the popular yet mysterious “Otsutsuki God” and the Jougan? Do you think Code will become an “Otsutsuki God?” Or will Boruto become one?
What’s Happening in Boruto Manga Right Now?
As of now, 71 Chapters of Boruto: Naruto Next Generation have dropped. Currently we are at Boruto Chapter 71 and this chapter is Titled, Hindrance. Since Boruto is a monthly based Manga, chapters drop once a month only. The new chapters in most occasions drop by 22nd of any month.
As chapter 71 of the Boruto manga opens, Code is still attempting to murder Amado. Since he is one of his targets, he won’t show him any mercy. Amado addresses Eida in an attempt to dissuade her from killing him because he knows he will not be able to defeat him. She is assured by Amado that Kawaki is his ace, so the girl might be interested in this.
Code is unwilling to listen to him, but Eida advises that he remain silent. Eida calls for Daemon to intervene after Code makes a remark about how Eida forbidding him from killing Kawaki will prevent him from sparing Amado as well. He is easily stopped by Daimon, but this is insufficient to make him stop being agitated.
Code is cautioned by Eida to pay attention to her advice if he wants to avoid getting in the way of the siblings. The cyborg is enraged by the fact that they can eliminate him at any time. He hasn’t done anything, in Code’s opinion, to bother Eida. However, Amado resumed speaking, which further agitated the three young children.
Eida has been given permission to stay in Konoha, but she continues to hang out with their greatest danger. She will never get close to Kawaki if she carries on acting in this manner. Code makes another attempt to murder the scientist, but Daemon is there to stop him.
